The editorial soccer team at The Athletic were at the forefront; breaking the news of Messi joining Inter Miami FC and following along every step of the way, from every angle, as he created an instant phenomenon upon arrival.

    Entry: Between Two Worlds is a four-part audio documentary examining the Filipino-American experience in parallel with the Philippines women’s national team’s journey to their first-ever FIFA Women's World Cup. The show connects threads of identity, history, achievement and hope through the lens of soccer. The goal of Between Two Worlds at the time of launch was to bring awareness to the Philippines women's national team and other teams receiving less media attention at the Women's World Cup.

    The show was launched via Megan's social media channels and has been downloaded over 8,000 times in five short months with over 3,500 of those downloads coming in the first seven days. Between Two Worlds has been listened by viewers in the United States, Canada, Philippines, New Zealand, Singapore, and more.

    Megan's storytelling of the Philippines women's national team created major waves globally across the sports landscape and earned her live spots on BBC, CNN, CityNews Toronto, and NBC Bay Area.

    A proud Filipino-American, Megan intentionally collaborated with other Fil-Am creatives on the project, including the show's editor, Maria-Karmina Landicho, and the show's cover art designer, Lysander Caceras.
